My name is Ava-Marie Carlson, and I’m 17 years old. I’ve spent most of my life being active and outdoors, exploring new things whenever I can. Sports have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember, and over the past four years, I’ve been working on boats. Being out on the water has given me the chance to spend time learning about marine life and develop a real love for the ocean. I enjoy meeting new people, trying new experiences, and being part of communities where I can connect with others. I want to participate in this voyage because it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and experience life in a completely different way. It’s an opportunity to challenge myself, work closely with other young people from various backgrounds, and spend more time doing something I love. I’m asking for support to help me take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
